I've got 350 bucks to upgrade this M4.

I'm thinking, Longer Tight bore, Metal Hopup assembly, And innerds.

Where should I go with this / What should I get?

I dont think he needs very much ROF, I think he's looking for more accuracy and power.

(I also should put that the field limit here is 400FPS for full auto)

That's what I was thinking... But those things can get around 330 for a good one, And I'm pretty sure he wanted a tightbore in there aswell :P...

The gun currently doesn't have a rear sight, Anyone know of a really good, fairly inexpensive sight system (Irons, Not anything too fancy)

I've always liked the Knight's Armament style 600m rear folding sights like this:



It's simple, one action (instead of a bunch of complicated spring-loaded actions) and does the job just fine for airsoft.

How is the current mechbox? Already upgraded? Old/damaged?

Systema gearboxes are around $220 USD on Redwolf or Uncompany. With the exchange rate, shipping fees and potential custom fees, you should be well under $350.

When I look at how much I spent on individual parts for my v2 mechbox, in the end, buying a fully assembled Systema gearbox would have been a much better deal.

His current mechbox is completely fine, It's a stock CA (front wired) one... Anyone know off hand how much a good condition stock CA mechbox will sell for? (If I can sell it, and bump up the $$ for this project, I can make things much nicer)
