AK-Beta tune-up kit in AK-47

Is something not going to work properly. Due to the shorter barrel of the AK-Beta wouldn't it have a smaller piston/compression? I'm a bit fuzzy on it, but I remember that being a potential problem. Help is appreciated.

Not a smaller piston, but it might have a cylinder that is ported for a shorter barrel. The rest of the kit will work fine, all you need to do is to swap out the ported cylinder for a non-ported one.
