Yup, that's all you can really do. Unless of course they clearly sent you a different product than advertised.

Photos on website look like stock photos, which will always show the brightest colours and pattern "match", actually when dealing with "surplus" is usually repo/knock off lower quality.

Unless you are buying brand new from the manufacture, never expect what you receive to look the same as on a surplus stores website, unless it is one of the very very few that are honest with their photos (like ArmyIssue).

Unfortunately all you can do it try to work it out with the store as they are not an ASC retailer so there is not assistance the staff can provide.

They are a pretty legit business. If calling is not an option try emailing them.

If you are lucky enough they might possibly see your post on this forum. Some of their staff are seriously involved in the airsoft community around here, but i wouldn't take that for granted.

Take a few pictures of the labels if you don't mind, I'm kind of curious now.

I highly doubt your issued CADPAT had pink and yellow in it.

Same, my GEN2 surplused CADPAT looks a lot more like the stuff on the right.
The left BDU looks like a knock-off.

I would say the stuff on the right looks like faded issue, the left looks like one of those off brand combat shirts. The color is good on them, but not quite legit looking. I'll snap a photo later if I have time.

Compare that shirt to this:

This

The left looks like faded CADPAT from some of the newer runs that fade super light, right looks like the same knockoff repro that I had YEARS ago.

Good luck finding surplus CADPAT BDUs anyways. The stuff we turn in is normally beyond faded, see thru and torn up since they wont accept anything but the worst for return, and even then they shred it all anyways.

Would recommend getting RAP4 stuff. Their Cadpat is fairly decent for a repro.
