Tattoos
Hey AS,
Got an interesting question. Got some tattoos done awhile back. It's been 6 plus months since they were done. Out of curiosity to anyone who has tattoos, who plays. Will BB hits effect tattoos? As I'd rather not ruin what will be stuck on my body for the rest of my life. Regards Cpgop |

I have tattoos that are 30+ years old and have been shot repeatedly on them. Once the bruise etc. heals they're fine.
Brand new still scabbed up I'd avoid playing. Otherwise not a big deal.

Yes when brand new they will get fucked up. I am currently doing some massive cover ups thanks to a g18c at 3 feet away. But all my older peices have been fine.

tattoos are nothing more than a change in pigmentation of cells. Once the tattoo is healed, I doubt the blunt force of a bb will do anything to it. Tats are resilient, I've seen them fully restored on dried up bodies found in deserts.

Like others said, you'll be fine as long as they are healed.

Thanks everyone for the replies.
Wasn't sure how they'd fair with BB hits and all, but after reading all the replies it seems I have nothing to fear(unless its brand new) As I was about to attempt to create some form of soccer style shin-pad for my arms to cover my half sleeve. Thanks again! |

If you don't have one bad tattoo you don't have enough tattoos.

I use heavy coverage bulletproof glasses, a lower face mesh mask, and hard ear protection. I don't generally wear something around my neck, but that is purely personal taste.

I used to get sticks to my tattoo spots and it would leave noticeable stains because of the bleeding. Of course, the force of the blow is not the same as that of the shot, and plus you will be equipped, but the risk, I think, is there...
