Hi-capa gripreplacement - QUESTION
Hey guys,
I just purchased myself a little something-something (TM 5.1 :P ![]() It's a grip that can utilize 1911 panels. I think Tanio Koba used to make it, but the ones I see now by them don't state if they actually use 1911 panels. Anyone know? Thanks. Edit: The two I saw were made by Guarder and the other by Tanio Koba (KJW?) but they looked identical and wasn't sure if either could take 1911 grip panels. I don't believe they can considering the difference in thickness between the two grips since the Hi Capa is a double stack and 1911 is single. With that in mind, it stands to reason what I'm looking for doesn't exist, does it? Last edited by Reaver_RRTS; June 10th, 2014 at 12:24.. |

In my experience, the guarder grip same with tanio koba, but the thick of this grip is not pretty good fit. This trigger ring is bigger than original, it will be jammed. I think you place the original trigger grip is better.

Most aftermarket grips are garbage, they fit slanted and end up getting gaps between the safety lever and lower frame.
If you want something nice look for the PRIME stuff.
