BB Bastard frag36's, anyone tried them??

Looking for some user reviews

Seems a bit of an anomaly to me, as the .36s are dedicated long range rounds for marksmen only, it's a bit odd that they would make a lower quality .36, but not a regular double polish .36?

So what's the performance on the FRAG BB's like? Are the .36g FRAG's worth it for high accuracy platforms?

I find there's a big gap right now in the ECO line between .28s which are too light and .36 NITES which are way too expensive...

Last I heard the FRAG series aren't double polished so as to get more grip on the hopup rubber? Lower cost per round because it takes less to manufacture them due to the single polish. That being said they aren't necessarily lower quality - just different and less expensive based on the adjusted manufacturing process.

I've heard good things about them but never tested them personally

No review but I'll lay a bet that they're fine.

I use their .3's, love em! I'm probably going to get a box of .36 for the summer

I have used their .25, .28, .32 and .36 Frag rounds. They say they are not double polished but they sure do look and feel like they are.

So far have run them through the following barrels 6.01 G&P, 6.03 G&P, 6.01 TK Twist, 6.03 TM, 6.01 Madbull with no issues.

Only shot a few hundred rounds of the .28, .32 and .36 ones, but I've gone through approximately 6000 of the .25's.

I can shed some light.

Correct, they are not double polished which is why we did not associate the line with the premium line - we did not want to mislead anyone that we had release a premium double polish +.30g as it would have been dishonest. It was an experiment that did not meet our premium standard but that being said, they are pretty damn good for the price. We won't be running that line again, so, while we have a good supply of them, once they are gone, they will be gone for good.

We're currently working on perfecting a double polish +.30g BB line, its just that the materials above .30g resist our current fine polish methods in that it results with pitting due to the harder material. They work fine with single fire gas guns as that type of feedpath and firing mechanism does not stress the BB surface the way your typical AEG, PTW or other mag fed system does. We don't want to harden the BB too much as it would damage a full auto feedpath - in fact, ALL of the manufacturers we've tested (virtually all the North American ones) are too hard for full auto - its a reason why you're seeing a drought on heavies. I'd rather not have a heavyweight that would do full auto damage than sell something that could damage our customers guns, and cause anyone to distrust our brand. The current FRAG .36g is full-auto safe because its 95% the same material as the < .30g so I am not worried about it, but the result is you simply can't double polish it. From what I have heard though, people are quite happy with it. I won't be happy until we have a .36g and a .40g in double polish, and hopefully, WHITE.

Slight bump of an old thread.
Has anyone tried their BIO Frag .28's?
Compared to other popular brands - EliteForce, Madbull, BBB premium line?

Was hoping to pick up a box next week. Might just bite the bullet and pick them up anyway. I am going to guess they cant be worse then Madbull or Elite Force.

I stock .28 ECO and our team shoots them anytime we have to use biodegradable ammo. I have not noticed any difference as far as quality, accuracy etc. They are just as good as the classics as far as I am concerned.

If I am reading right, essentially their FRAG line is the same thing as their premium line just not double polished?
