hi so i have a tm sig 226 on the way from tru, i was looking at holsters & was wondering what you guys recommend. does anyone use the blackhawk omega vi airborne. it has an extra security strap so when your running around etc its locked down better. i would hate to lose it!!

Eagle SAS MKV for P226 or HSGI drop holster, ask them to mold it for the P226.

Safariland 6004. Great retention device.
I would be more worried about losing your mag than to lose your gun as a whole.

^ in reference to losing guns/mags
I had to re-adjust my retention strap yesterday, after my 226 jumped out of the hoster while I was running (luckily, I felt it shift, and caught it before it even hit the ground) the holster I have is one that I bought for cheap from Freedom Fighter, and I will be upgrading to a safariland, or a formed drop leg, in the near future.

This is one of the HSGI holsters I have in stock. Retail is $114.99 CDN
It has the retention strap, the thumb snap and two mag pouches. The landyard comes in handy for rappeling ect when you might "open" your holster by accident. Otherwise LCF This is made for the M-9 but will fit a variety of weapons.(1911 in this photo) Another one in stock not shown though is the HSGI Universal holster that will accept formed Kydex inserts for different weapons. One that everyone loves is the Safariland 6004. Alot of guys use this but are converting it to a high ride. I have used the Drop Zone and can say it's a good one as well, my only complaint with it was that it sat to low and moved around when running. It will also fit a variety of weapons.

Just remember to convert to CDN dollars and add your shipping, duty and GST.
Your going to come in at around $120 CDN 8-O
