Anti-perspirant to prevent goggle fogging/blurring?
Has anyone here tried using Anti-perspirant to the area where you cover your goggle as a way to reduce fogging and blurring?
I know you guys are going to give me the answer of using anti-fog wipe goggle with fan remove the foam on the top of goggle (dust protection) However, I've tried all three, and my goggle is still going to blur up. Basically it won't fog but condensate into water on the lens instead. |

the SECRET is to not use any wipe at all, just the anti-fog fluid (many will work, fogtech is still better than dishwashing liquid), and let the fluid flow and coat the whole lens : you need to turn the lens and slide the tip of the bottle on it so that the coat is homogenous with no drying marks. Let it dry and DO NOT wipe.
If you are doing this, say on a Bolle lens for example, start in the middle, extend to one side, and do the other side starting in the middle again: the mark will be in the middle where your eyes can't see it. Do not touch the resulting coat. You will get absolutely ZERO fogging or blurring. also you need to block the sweat from your forehead.headband.

Sweatband is a good idea. My Bolle x800 don't fog (good anti fog coating) but I will have sweat running through them from my forehead.

Some folks say putting bandaids under your eyes or on your nose helps.

Use dish detergent. Rub it onto the lens and let dry. Wipe of excess and polish the lens. It's cheap to do and leaves your lens smelling lemony fresh.

Just take the lenses off, no fog at all.

Apply anti-fog agent (Go Fogtech!) as if you were painting, not rubbing the surface. Do not touch or wet the surface afterward.
Make sure you remove all foam around your goggles if you have any to help ventilation.

This works. You can use the same for those who wear regular glasses.

Hello Ladies: look at your goggles, now back to mine, now back to your goggles, now back to mine. Sadly, your goggles are not mine, but if you started to use Old Spice antiperserant, your goggles could Smell like mine.
