My JG Review
recently purchased a JG M4A1. Couldn't be more happy with the performance. Yes you have to buy a charger (if you don't have one) as the charger that comes with it is from china (doesn't work here).
The gun looks good, it uses a hard plastic that seems to be durable enough to withstand quite a bit before anything happens, the only thing I can see happening is the tabs snapping off eventually. First chrono measured at 383 fps, no upgrades just stock out of the box, using .20's. After some initially adjustments with the hop-up system the rifle shot straight time and time again. Battery life was also I big bonus. Went through approximately 1500-2000 rounds through the day and still had plenty of battery life left at the end of the day. I was using a Intellect 8.4v 1400mah. As pointed out by a fellow player, this rifle would give better bush results using the .25 bbs, but .20's worked good as well. The barrel has a slight wobble but, as do many other brands of M16’s and M4’s, nothing to worry about, performance is not affected by it. For upgrades, initially I spent $375 on the rifle, and now will buy a tight bore inner barrel at 604mm to give a little bit better performance. That will be about it for now, maybe at the end of this season I may buy some metal bushings and gears. I wouldn’t suggest upgrading the spring for two reasons, one being that the weapon itself is mainly plastic therefore your bushings and gears may run down a lot quicker then before, and secondly this rifle shoots anywhere between 330fps and 390fps, stock. A lot of fields have a 400fps rule for AEGs, so you upgrade your spring you will most likely exceed that fps. I’m happy with my purchase, save the $200 and get a JG, if you want then you can use the $200 and spend on upgrades. Good luck in whatever you do. |

I just got into airsoft and bought two JG airsoft guns 1. the M4-System and 2. the g36c
i have to say that the m4 s-system is an amzing gun! once you buy a nice red dot sight and put it on the gun it looks pretty sweet! i havent tried the JG regular M4 but im sure it is still pretty great. but you get what you pay for and you cant go wrong with a TM hope it helpS! |
