Good news:
2012/11/08 13:19 MONTREAL Item processed at postal facility 2012/11/08 09:19 MONTREAL Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing 2012/11/08 09:14 VILLE ST-LAURENT International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs 2012/10/30 01:04 CHZRHB,Switzerland International item has left the origin country and is en route to Canada 2012/10/30 01:02 CHZRHB,Switzerland International item processed in origin country My package cleared customs in five minutes? Bad news: 2012/11/09 12:38 SIDNEY Canada Post processing error; item re-routed. Possible delay Oh no, they sent it to Australia! I assume (wrongly?) that since they don't specify, there is only one Sidney and that is the one 30 minutes from here. Given that, they must have caught the error, as there is no way they transported this package from Montreal to Vancouver Island overnight. Does that mean that the package must travel to Sidney to be bounced back down? |

I shall be called Grumpy Grumpy for the next lil while....
This is what it should've look like There's nothing left to salvage, even the rubber band got tore up. Found this in middle of a road in my community as I drive home today. Not sure what happened. Canada Post CS was 5% useful. Can I file a complaint against the person who deliver it? NO Was it the mail man or the truck driver who was suppose to deliver it? Can't tell you Can I file a complaint? NO What can I do? tell the sender to file a complaint But this damage is clearly result of Canadian side (with the stuff inside soak with snow)! Doesn't matter. Oh for your info, I tried to snap the broken pieces, they're quite strong. There's no way you can break these by smashing with any kind of throw. |

Yesterday I was checking tracking #s on a box of parts from Airsoft Parts Canada and set of Goggles from the classifieds and they both showed still in transit.
I asked myself "why is it so long to come from Ontario" and about an hour later the Postman was at the door with both boxes.

Canada Post's shipping calculator is retarded.
Observe. Shipping a small item internationally with the dimensions of (LWH) 10 x 5 x 6 will cost at least $36 But shipping the same item in a box with the dimension of (LWH) 23 x 10 x 9 will cost at cheapest $9 for surface and $17 for air. What the fuck? So I asked the post office worker and she said that the machines have a harder time grabbing small boxes or something. How retarded. |

Their tracking, and especially their email notifications, are useless. Sometimes I get the email a week after it was delivered, sometimes (now) I'm supposed to get an item, it's 2 days late but I have absolutely no information of its whereabouts.

It went from one end of Canada to the other because it originated in Los Angeles and entered the country in BC. What do you want them to do, use transporter technology?

Winnipeg is in middle of Canada and much close to BC than GTO area, so why need to sent to Mississauga?

It would certainly give them a competitive edge... I recently lost a $300 camera to USPS between toronto and newyork, as if the first guy that touched the box took it... so I can't complain too much about canada post atm myself.
