Anyone Order from Northern Recon Before?

I still cant get a hold of him. It seems like whoever runs the site has "walked away" from it.

I dont know the guys last name.

Inbox is full, cant call him, its like it isnt running anymore.

I even google image street viewed the address it gives and there is nothing airsoft related at all, just a building under construction and a blank office.

I have a feeling ill be filling a chargeback. Im not waiting for this. But qhy wouldnt he close the site if he didnt want to place orders?

Last email I got from them stated the item I was waiting on was in toronto in customs, haven't been able to get in touch since.......Strange

I filled out a 'contact us' form a few weeks back enquiring about a product and havn't heard anything back from them... Doesn't seem like I will either

I just called my credit card company and put a chargeback on my purchase. It will go into effect tomorrow night and ill have my money back sat morning. I dont have forever to wait on him. Package is supposed to arrive tomorrow, if it does ill cancel chargeback. Im going to order from torontoairsoft or taktik arisoft im not sure which one yet.

Did you your credit card through paypal? Thats what i did. Will the chargeback work if i call my card company? Thanks

I did do it through credit card via paypal, I just phoned up my cc company and they took care of it. Didn't go through paypal and file dispute. The cust service rep with my cc company just made a note to file a chargeback when she gets in tomorrow afternoon. If it shows up before then, well I will cancel the chargeback.

I'm going to reorder from somewhere else on saturday morning.

Just wanted to post an update. My email finally went through. Matt said that they were spamed and they did not realize it.

Matt apologize and provided me with a refund. I had submitted a claim with both my credit card and paypal.

I hope that tbey monitor their mailbox closer so that these type of issue does not happen again. When you have an online store email communication is key.

I wanted to follow up as well and say that Matt got a hold of me too and told me his inbox was spammed and he could not see new emails or new orders. I told him I had filled a charge back and to not ship out the gun and he apologized for leaving us hanging. I ended up ordering from taktik airsoft and the delivery was spot on and wicked fast. Ordered friday morning, got it yesterday.

Had someone else PM me about the name. The person who runs this website was banned from EAR back in 2009-10 for selling re-manufactured guns as "new". Ripping off members on sales.

Said that they're updating their website and some items are listed as available and are not. The item which I chose is unavailable but could be expressed and arrive next Friday to be shipped to me
