Best Full-Metal M4 Carbine Airsoft Gun?

This is usable numbers on a calm day on level ground. Being with a slight tailwind or being elevated in a tower greatly increases those numbers. I've had M150 shots extend out as far as 250 paces (600+ feet), but single shot accuracy is not there. A burst might do the trick though.

Hah. So if you were running a decently tuned hop, and heavier rounds, you'd be able to effectively engage targets at almost 390 (or +) on burst, or F/A?

Damn, I wonder what an M16 length PTW is capable of.. Unless, ofcourse, that was your M16 length PTW you were talking about..

Barrel length means nothing. My CQB and M4 have virtually identical performance. M16 is about the same, but my old one is a Gen 1 with M90 kit only. Accuracy may be better, but at those ranges, outside influences like wind, foliage, etc. play more of a role than the capabilities of the gun itself as far as accuracy and range are concerned.

Yeah, I keep thinking realsteel.

That's still great compared to a Pro-Win equipped 416 (my initial plans for "Pro.Athena"), which costs more-or-less, the same. 1,190 for the VFC, then another 1,000 for high-end parts/prowin...

i got my prowin for around $480, and could have gotten it cheaper through the right channels.
swapping out springs is too easy, one bolt and thats it.
much cheaper to have a set of different springs then to buy a set of different systema cylenders.
but i will admit one thing about the systema PTWs, thier gear setup is just awsome. you have one inside the other, so it takes up less room in the lower reciver.

Actually in the new PTW's, the M16 and the M4 have the same length inner barrel. If you want a longer one you can buy a doff custom barrel, but it's gonna cost you $280USD.

If this is your first gun, a PTW is probably not the best choice. You need to have 3 or 4 armalites and go through all the version 2 mechbox woes before you get one. That way when you finally get one, you will really appreciate it.

Get an ICS or CA for your first metal gun. If you do have issues, you can either tackle them yourself or get it checked out by a gun tech. It'll be the easiest on your pocket book in the short term.

If that's directed at me... then No. This isn't my first AEG. I've had about 8 (still own two of the originals). Most of which were V2. So you can understand where my lust for PTW internals comes from.

Doff has some crazy mods. I've seen his SPR-ish grip, and his painted PTW.
