Thanks for some of your comments. As for a restricted license, I have one so if I wanted to do the real steel IPSC I could. That's not the point.

As for the safer comment perhaps it should have more affordable. Regardless, I expected some negative comments for some.. fine just don't join. Anyhow, flame on if you wish. As I have recieved a lot of positive feedback already.

I'm not necesarily against the idea of shooting IPSC-style matches with Airsoft, I just took offence to the "safer alternative" comment. As a restricted PAL holder yourself, you should appreciate the ramifications of making this type of statement in a time when our guns are a hair's breadth from being outlawed.

Anyone who actually shoots at a legitimate range knows this scenario is almost impossible given range-light rules and proving clear. A loaded gun is NEVER unattended, EVER.
Morbuis, I have retracted my statement about being safer.

But thank you for comments.

That was the intended point of that statement.

The answer

The answer to your question seems to be here : http://www.airsoft-shooting.org/?lang=en
It's the same as IPSC+IDPA+PINSHOOTING+STEELCHALLENGE but with airsoft technology.
It's the beginning of this story but I exchanged some emails with the administrators and they seems to have a lot of good idea.

I haven't seen the video in a while, and can't watch it right now at work but if I remember correctly, Clarence does 2-3 things during that mock match that would DQ him in a real IPSC match, including taking a practice sight picture with a loaded gun and excessive trigger finger on the trigger while not actively engaging targets.

Having taken the course and being BB Certified I believe Airsoft IPSC would only further soul Airsofters in the eyes of so called "real steel" owners...

Curiously enough, if you take the sine of 666°, you get 0.80901699, which is one half of negative phi, or perhaps what one might call the "anti-phi" / It is opposite of balance and harmony ergo: chaos and disharmony.
