based on the pictures in the OP id agree with schlyder Danish M84 or CADPAT or some other sort of nice leafy greenish camo with bits of muddy earth colors in it

I'd recommend Flecktarn cause even when it looks dark it seems to work better than you would expect. Also from what I have seen if you look in the right places you can find pretty much ANYTHING in flecktarn. MARPAT might be a little too brown but you could try it anyways.

All in honesty, Just flat OD green would work wonders in here. Remember the 'pattern' on your bdu's would be made from cast shadows on your person.
Other than that, if you're looking for something patterned. you could also look into russian KLMK, looks like an ugly set of pyjamas but I love it. |

Check out also a Russian Camo called Flora, should be fairly cheap depending on where you get it, russians make everything in abundance so surplus isnt usually short.

If it has to be a modern (and more common ) camouflage pattern, Flecktarn would be perfect for the fall. For spring and summer, the Danish m84 is pretty much the best.
Now for my WW2 reenactor 2 cents If you don't mind the more ``antiquated`` camouflage patterns (this pattern is more than 70 years old ); The Oak Leaf A camouflage has displayed on this ``zeltbahn`` - The german WW2 tent quarter (http://www.militarytour.com/Reproduc...ms/ZeltOak.htm) - What is great about the zeltbahn is its ability to be turned into water-repellent camouflage smock that can be used as makeshift camouflage (http://www.dererstezug.com/UsingTheZeltbahn3.htm) for both spring/summer as well as fall (http://www.dererstezug.com/UsingTheZeltbahn.htm). For about 90$ shipped, you get a unique camouflage that will work for all seasons (except Winter... of course).

Bwah, Where do you live on the Rock?
Lots of us Newfoundland players use Multicam, Cad-Pat, Woodland and OD green.

Don't over-think it. It's camo, not a Klingon cloaking device.
No matter which you choose Shape, Shine, Silhouette, and Movement discipline decide whether you're seen or not. |

Anyways, it seems MARPAT would be a bad choice, after reviewing the posts and also taking a quick scan on my playing grounds today....too much brown in the pattern and not enough in the environment. Im edging towards flecktarn the most now. Also, a lot have mentioned the Danish m84, is that stuff avaliable on ebay? Because thats where I buy the large majority of my gear. And lastly, does anybody think woodland tiger stripe would do alright? |

as much as i LOVE MARPAT... it really does seem like CADPAT or german camo would work out the best for you. multicam is way too brown and ACU (which is sooo hidious) wouldnt work either...

I have to agree with you. The ACU I own is just the pants, bought them for just going out and around and whatnot. But ill probably end up buying German Flecktarn, might even make a homemade ghillie suit....what better camo is there ?

Do you think the Brit Cam would work anygood? Im also considering that. Maybe just wear brit pants with the traditional woodland pants.
