M4 disassembly

Exclamation M4 disassembly

How do i remove the outer barrel, the handguards, and the front sight/gastube from my m4?

mechbox.com doesn't cover those parts of the gun, only the disassembly of the body required to get to the mechbox.

I'm not sure about your M4 but most of it is held together by pins and hex screws. The handguards come off by pulling the delta ring (little collar after the receiver) back and they should be pretty easy to pop off. The outer barrel is usually held by some hex screws near the receiver and the front sight is held in again by pins and hex screws.

the delta ring has a spring, push it backward towards the receiver to take out upper and lower handguards.if you specify which M4 you have would be more helpful, anyways if its JG, you have to loosen the 3hex on the end to remove the delta ring, the rest would be easy to figure out.
