hi all
2nd post for me, and also im in the UK, dont blame me, blame the perants So i thought i'd share my thoughts about the CA M14 over here in old blightey! Currently the "scout" version is comming in at £220 UKP ($467.453 CAD)The "match" is coming in slightly cheaper, at £199 UKP ($422.771 CAD) Personal experiance with mine so far, (i have the scout) battery a little difficult to fit, i slammed in a 3700 large, made by a UK company called Tornado, the mag's don't always fully click into place in the magwell, and also bad feeding from the mag's. I'm guessing the magwell will just bed in with time, and the mag's where sorted out with a little silicone sprey. Took it out on a skirmish and got plenty of hits with it. I like it alot, build is good, externals are good, ROF with just an 8.4 is very very nice, personally i think that the accurancy isn't as good as i hoped, but im sure a tight bore will help. well theres a few thoughs of mine, cheers Nige |

If I'm not mistaken, the M14 "Scout" is a replica of the Springfield M1A Scout and the M14 "Match" is the replica of the Springfield M1A Match grade rifle.
Quick glance shows that the Match has a full length barrel, while the Scout has the scout mount and the M25 flash suppressor with a short barrel.

1. There are two different ways, the cheap way is a standard M14 side mount rail, the most expensive is an RIS.
2. Not sure as I haven't tried yet. 3. My M14 Match came with a Version 7 gearbox and more metal internals than I can shake a stick at. |

Uh.... The CA is a copy of the G&G M14, so it does not have a V7 gearbox, thats the TM one. The CA/G&G has a mix of the version 2 and 3 geabox.
