what if I made it out of balsa wood?

The rule of thumb for suppressors is whether they can suppress one shot out of a .22. If it's made of wood It should just blow apart on the first shot, correct?,

I wanted to put that stuff in for accuracy and because I think it would be awesome to show off.

"nice can you have there, want to see what is inside mine?"

I'm not sure. I think that even if you build it out of balsa wood, put your PVC cover around it and then your end cap on, so long as the round doesn't hit the wood it might actually stand up to the pressure for a few rounds.

I'd think since the sport is already fairly hushed up, no one would notice/make too much of a fuss if you made it out of metal (unless ofcourse you were showing it off alittle too much). A bit of foam and some water later and...well...let's not go there.

the real way to silence an AEG is to stick memory foam in the body. I'll just do that instead.

You just have to be careful, foam is insulation afterall and excessive heat around the motor/gearbox can't be good for it.
