Hop up door on M4A1

Hey guys,

I am looking into buying an M4A1 and found out that the gun has a problem with the hop up door. Apparently it has a bad latch and there is a piece of tape on it to keep dust out. Is this something that would normally cause a lot of problems on the field\in the future?

Is this something that can be fixed easily?

As long as your not crawling through mud, excessive sand or water with your gun, then you'll be fine. That door is mainly cosmetic on airsoft guns anyway.
