Only TOP makes an MP40. These retailers have false info.

That's what I thought but it says it doesn't use a bellows system and the Top does. I am sure it isn't a Mauri but is it a Top for sure?

Is it still possible to get a TOP MP40? I heard they were discontinued or something like that.

The TOP still lists at the WGC shop that the Armoury has listed as a supplier. Shows a list of $458 US. I'm looking to get one if it comes up in the for sale ads.

I heard wild rumours that Tokyo Marui is planning an MP 40 in the FUTURE.
I really darn hope the rumours are true.......

Just looking at the Airsoft Armory page at TOP MP40's. They have a below average rating but come with a wide variety of upgrades.

Does anyone know what the M130 or M100 Gearbox's do for the MP40? Also what is the motor like for rate of fire and how well can you shoe horn a faster one in there. For that matter it says the barrel is 250mm and the nearest tight bore barrel I've been able to find is 247mm, would that do the trick? If I fail in finding a decent MG42 I'd consider a MP40. I hope the rumor about a TM MP40 is true, that would to be blunt...SWEET!!!

Good thread

there was a mock-up of a TM mp40 around the time they released the Thompson during the SPR craze that lasted a few months. that was the last I evr saw of it. I've handled the TOP mp40 and found it rickety as hell but still cool.
