Finch field 2015
Hey all! lately the finch field staff have been getting pms regarding the field and the field's future. So i'm going to shed some light on a few things. some of the more frequent questions were who runs this place? and who do I contact for things to do with the field? basically they want to know the fields command structure.
OWNERS/OPERATION MANAGERS Shane Klooster (callsign: Jayne finch) Justin Stagg (callsign: Primo) As the field's owners/operation managers shane and I are responsible for keeping the field operational. we are the ones who do all the behind the scenes things such as lawn and trail care, garbage pick up and new construction. We take numerous safety walks through out our property as well as maintain public relations with the surrounding neighbors and the in town resident OPP office. we are also responsible for booking outside events such as 24hr milsims as well as other games, that are organized by an outside host and booking team training days. as the owners, we have final say in everything that has to do with our field. what most people don't know is that shane and myself both hold down Monday to Saturday full time night jobs and as the field grows it gets harder for us to make things happen on a regular basis ,with that being said over the last couple of years we have had a new position at the field and that's site manager/game coordinator help alleviate some of the stress of a growing business. SITE MANAGER/HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION Kayla Lewis (callsign: ~*~Snapshot~*~) as head of administration, Kayla is tasked with insuring every one completes waivers, pays their game fee, has proper safety equipment for our field and everyone is wearing their wrist band for admittance to the playing field. she is also in charge of all sales for the field (bbs, googles, posters, photos, tshirts ect). aside from the administration part of her job. kayla is also the site manager, meaning when shane and I are busy with various other field tasks she is the one in charge. she can make decisions in our absence. Kayla will be the one who post up games for finch field after all three of us have discussed the details and ok'd the event. that being said there will not be a game at finch unless it has been discussed with one if not both of the owners. people may pm kayla regarding questions to field and she will discuss it with shane and I for a immediate and accurate response. Kayla is also the person who runs the finch field facebook page. we also have GAME ASSISTANTS. on game day we may have one or two volunteers who will help out with the actual running of the games as well as BBQing lunch and helping to clean up. these are people who are friends of the field who we rely on when our plates are full for that day.
