Realistic Glock

I will start by saying that I do not play airsoft. I am looking for a GBB pistol to use in my home for training. I own a full size Glock handgun, and am looking for the most realistic airsoft gun to train on. I have heard that TM is the best, but I cannot find one with a metal slide. I need it to be as close to the real steal as possible. I have seen that WE comes with a metal slide, but I have consistently seen that TM gets higher rating. What would you recommend considering you have more experience than I do in this matter.

B) Read this.

C) Do the age verified thing etc. etc. Then you'll get access to more info you can't see right now.

The dirty quick answer would be: KSC makes the most realistic glock out there

What kind of trainning? Shooting inside? It wont really transfer IMO.

KSC or KWA "M-Series". They have different versions too with heavyweight frames and such. I had a Taiwan Version Glock19 from them (that somehow got lost in a move I think) and it was awesome.

That or Stark Arms (VFC OEM) seems like a good buy as well.

If you get TM and want a metal slide you're going to have to get a metal upgrade kit.

It also depends on what you mean by realistic. If you want it to kick as hard as possible, you can get a steel slide (such as the RA-Tech slides). Not very gas efficient, but if you are not going to game it anyway, it will not matter.

There is no point in training with airsoft if you are going to complain about a slide not being in metal, just the force required to rack the slide to chamber one is not remotely comparable to real steel.

IMO, get a bore laser.

Glock won't allow blue guns to be distributed to the public anymore.
Quoted from the bluegun website:

Quote:
[...]Glock restricts the sale of Glock Blueguns to the Public. We are restricted to selling Glock Blueguns to the Police, Military, Trainers, Police Distributors, or Holster Manufacturers. We ask that our customers abide by these rules and refrain from offering Glock Blueguns to the Public on the Internet, Publications or General Catalogs. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your support.
dhpsask, it would be interesting to know what you're hoping to get out of it. The very basics will carry over, but you'll find that the trigger pull is lighter, the recoil spring is much lighter, and the recoil is much much lighter.
It'll help you train to hold the gun properly, but as soon as you attempt to operate it, it'll feel different than your real glock.

+1 to getting AV'd.
You'll have access to info we can't give you without you being verified as age appropriate. As well, you'll have access to AirsoftCanada's classifieds, where I've bought 90% of my guns for much lower prices.
As for which brands? Yes, TM is the standard by which all others are judged. Let's put it in car-speak. If Nissan sells the Skyline GTR, and I get a Skyline GTS4, I'm not necessarily getting a lesser car at all.
You don't have to get TM in order to have a great gun.
I had a less expensive Stark Arms (VFC) Glock18C, and it was simply beautiful. Metal slide and all. Years ago, I owned a real Glock 23, and the ergonomics and function (minus the select fire) is dead on accurate to my former G23.
As well, a lot of members think ill of WeTech, but I've never had a serious problem with a We gun yet. A quick trip to your local army surplus store (for me, Hero's in Oshawa) will provide you the opportunity to feel and fondle what might be right for you.
