Tokyo Marui Deceleration Adapter
While browsing the TM website I stumbled across this "deceleration adapter". An attachment with 14mm ccw threads that screws on to your muzzle before the flash hider and reduces muzzle velocity, determined by the color of rubber band you use. I'm wondering if anyone has used or seen this before and can tell me if it had a negative effect on their accuracy, fps consistency or ever caused jamming at the end of your barrel.

Tried one of these out and it's not a real solution - it's only capable of lowering the velocity by modest amounts, and it's not something you can rely 100% on. The rubber bands can wear out from use, and when they do the device no longer works, so you're at risk of running too hot without any warning.
If you're reducing velocity to stay within game limits, I'd avoid it for those reasons. I recall it was semi-consistent though, as long as it was working properly. I still have one in the package at home I'd give away but I think it's CW not CCW |

Many places do not allow these to be used as a method to lower your FPS to field levels.
They also do not work with full auto as the rubber band does not have enough time to return to its at rest state. |

Thanks guys, I was looking at this as an alternative to switching out springs but I think I'll steer clear of this one. It would have been used for full auto of course so I suppose it is useless to me.
