Can I upgrade a G36C AEG to a GBB?

the title says it all. I have an entry-level g36c that works fine but is electric and the battery pack up front makes the gun oddly weighted (i also have it fully decked out with rails and suppressor that contribute to the weight)

I want to upgrade to a GBB because the sound is better and i like the realism. Can just the lower receiver/internals be swapped to achieve this, or does the GBB style require a different shape within the outer casing/receiver?

I would really like to have a GBB G36 without paying 200-300$ for a second gun if a $50-$100 part can achieve the transformation.

Not sure it's possible, but you're better buy a new one. Just in parts it's gonna cost the same price or even more.

Yes, but no.

Technically you could fit an AK GHK coversion in it, with a lot of work.
Then you would need to custom-build your own mags.

It would cost at shitload more money to buy the parts than to just buy a new WE G39

klondike_bar, i was in the same boat as you. i had a JG G36C that worked great but i wanted a GBB model. so i just ended up selling it and putting the the funds i made from it towards a WE G36.

WE G36Cs aren't that expensive anymore. i got mine from the classifieds for under $300 with upgrades and it was in mint condition, so just keep an eye out for good deals.

With enough work, parts and maybe creativity, convert a AEG G36 to a GBB is possible, but it would definitely cost more than $200-300 in parts.
