Sounds good to me.

"Flash" is hard to accurately translate, I'd go with :


Explodes with flash // Explose avec un flash lumineux.

But lumière is good.

For "engin" vs "dispositif", those are synonyms. They both mean the same thing.

Looking at other instruction books makes me think "dispositif" is the most commonly used.

And just to reassure you, this is international french. No slang has been used in what I've seen up til now.

Great thanks fellas! I'll replace l'engin with dispositif and fix the "au" and that should be that hurdle cleared. I may hit you guys up again when we need to do box/case labeling.
