the AV'er in his area hasn't posted since 2005 last online over a month ago but I rarely see him online here at all and anywhere in BC outside the lower mainland and island are known to be more difficult to get verified in. Might wanna know what your talking about next time, just saying

He won't get more of a response if he posts here if there aren't any verifiers in his area.

To OP: PM the next verifier on the list and so on until you get a response.

That is mostly true. But in the odd chance a traveling man was heading out his way and could do it a post can't hurt. there have been under serviced areas get av'ers or meet ups because of posts just like this.

I get PM's and people on msn asking about that area all the time.

I need verification, too. Tried to contact uzigon about a year back - never heard from him. Maybe we need a new verifier for this area? Not being verified has meant not visiting this forum.

Hmm.... that really sucks.

I'm actually in the Kootenays like once a year (for my university's snowboard trip).

If I was an AV rep I could to the East Kootenays once a year in Jan/Feb but too bad I'm not (and there could be an AV rep for the city that I go to uni at, it's the 4th largest city by population and you have to go to Calgary or Brooks to get AV...). At the moment I'm in "chairsofter mode" (only 2 games in the last 6 months), I'm kind of an "unknown" on the forums so no one can vet for me, only like 10-15 members of this site actually know who I am/have met me, and only 2 of them are AV reps (who have met me less than 2 or 3 times).
