Question on my WE M4
Hey guys,
I got my WE M4 the other day and today was the 1st day I was able to take it out and try it. I ran half a mag through and noticed that the rifle started to chop the BBs and now I can fill the mag, it just starts to spew out the bottom, even though the mag is empty. Please give me some ideas on how to fix these 2 issues. Thanks |

What brand BB's are you using? I've seen instances where an inferior bb can get chopped. I'm guessing this is more prevalent when you are using auto?

There is a whole thread dedicated to the WE M4/M16/Scar/416 and it will have the answers your looking for there. Just need to read a bit. Most likely your bb's suck unless you are using a good brand like bastards. Read up on the WETTI technical thread and you will find solutions

The bb's are velocity arms .20. I got them from the same place as the rifle. Yes but it will do it on semi. Also still can't figure out why tge gas keeps spewing out and not going into the mag. It was fine earlier today. I do know I now have a bb stuck in the barrel. Any ideas on how to get it out? Sorry to be a pain, do you have a link? When ever I search it doesn't work for me

I've heard that .20's are too light for gas guns.

If a bb is stuck in the barrel, turn your hop up all the way off, and use an unjamming rod to get it out. Also make sure you are putting silicone in your mags. They need a lot.

I will try to tightin up the fill up area needle (don't know the name sorry) where is the hop up? The last airsoft gun I had was a glock that I got from syphen a few years ago and I didn't have to do a thing to that gun so this is all new. I didn't know the .20 would be to light. I guess now what would be a better one to try?

the hop up is on the brass barrel that you see when you pull the charging handle. Are you lubing your gun?

THIS.
Read my signature. Also, for the record, .20g BB's will function flawlessly in WE M4, it's just that at stock speed's of 430+, they tend to go all over the place in terms of accuracy... |
