Depends which you get... regular ICS M4's have metal bodies... the Cansoft ones don't

My ICS M4 came with a full metal body. The stock and forgrip were plastic though.

Stock and foregrip are always plastic of some sort.. real M4's ones aren't metal.

ICS generally come with metal bodies. The halfbreeds are a relatively new invention.
