ARES AG36 Grenade Launcher - dissassembly

Hey guys,
I have a project in mind and I would like to make use of the ARES AG36, or a similar product. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

I was hoping somebody that may have experience with it can help me out.

I want to know if the launcher unit can be easily detached from the hand guard, as seen by the red line in the picture below.

Thanks

... for installation on a G3? If so, do tell! lol

Edit: Whoops, got my facts wrong. Was thinking of the HK79...

Well you have the Madbull AGX that would work, not as long as a proper XM320 but still nice.

LOL. It kills me inside to know that no one will ever make a HK79. I once saw a picture of a Norwegian operator in some dessert with one and a sliding stock/aimpoint configuration and haven't been able to get it out of my head. Coolest G3A4 (and G3 variant) I've ever seen, hands down. I was thinking of the Madbull XM203L mounted on a RAS or something like that, but it just won't be the same...

Anyway, so you're going to mount an AG36 on a G3 handguard, or on a RAS?

Going to mount it on the wood hand guard, find a way to make it quick detach as well(or at least be able to take it off in a few mins with minimal tools). Amos gave the the great idea of putting it on another one of my rifles too....
