By 'cover', do you mean the heat shield, outer barrel, or body/stock? And can't you superglue it or something?

No sorry I tried to super glue it and it's such a huge crack now due to it being used that I really just want a new cover. And its the main body shell.

Interesting. Super Glue usually fixes a myriad of things.
Is the body metal, or plastic? Have you taken it off already, or did you glue it while still on the gun? Can you take it off? What company is the make of the gun? Pictures?

It's a Crosman, with a cylinder seal upgrade upon getting it about 2 years ago it had a little seam/crack in it so I took it off and glued the seam. Since then its gotten bigger and I have given up on it. It's plastic (par-usual for a crosman) and sure I will get a picture! I will post it in my next reply.

Usually the solution for those things is to glue it, or buy a new one if its too bad. Its Clearsoft and cheap for a reason (however, those guns do tend to shoot good!)

You can try permapoxy 5 minute plastic weld. Its under $15 at canadian tire and is way stronger than superglue. I used it on a dash panel from a stereo installation in my car (it comes apart easier when you take all the screws out!) And it held up well as long as I had the car afterwards.

I am actually looking for a retractable stock to, just for a more comfortable and stable platform for my liking.

All this great help thanks guys! I really was wondering if all together that I could just keep the one I had (very very VERY limited budget atm) I will try what you (getting shot) I may have some down in my dad's workshop! If there is a way that I can just find a replacement, it would be appreciated!

Well, can you return it? Is the warranty still in place? Does it even have a warranty? If not, I'm pretty sure Crosman doesn't offer replacement parts, so you might have to epoxy/superglue/adhere it together.

Nope no warranty so I may just wait for boneyard's at Evike or ASGI to see if they will let me take specific parts.

Its hard to tell what's happened from the pic but I'd use some PC7 epoxy. Awesome stuff. Apply to crack and try to get it in between the crack......
Use something to clamp/tie the pieces together while it dries overnight. Once it dries you can remove any rough spots with sandpaper. Ideally you'd want to remove the broken part before gluing to insure the glue doesnt get on something it's not suppose to. |

As a last, last parting shot, PLEASE don't order receivers from America.
EVER. CBSA will confiscate them if they look realistic enough, and that criminal record never looks good on your resume.

Ah alright, would buying an M3 G&P Retractable stock be safe to ship in from over seas?
