Classifieds question

Hey all,
I want to contact someone about an ad that they posted, and last bumped almost a year ago.

I have tried pm'ing them, but their inbox is full, so it bounced it back.

I was going to post in the "for sale" thread, but I don't know if this is a no-no around here. The last time it was bumped was last may, so it would be a huge necro post, which I know is generally frowned upon on every forum site.

Would I be in the wrong to post a thread under the off topic sub section asking the seller to pm me? Is there a better section that I can post under?

@JonsM4: No, as far as I could tell, there are not any alternate ways to contact him.
I looked at the first link he has on his profile, which is a link to "gorilla airsoft podcasts". I left a message on their facebook wall, so hopefully they know who I am talking about. The second website he has posted on his profile is inactive, so that's a dead end.

@ Drake: He was last online on Sept 18, 2011, so he isn't an active member at this time. I suppose starting that thread would have been a waste of space and time. :/

The username is "VooDooPeteK". Has anyone dealt with him before? He has over 700 posts so someone must remember him.
