The mp5k is ripe for lipo. Just put in a sorbo pad, soft piston head, titanium tooth piston, metal bushings and a good shim job.

The only thing is that from what I've been reading, lipo should only be used for higher-fps guns and most mp5ks are anywhere from 260-350 fps for indoor/cqb. "They" recommend at least 380fps to avoid stripping the shit out of the internals.

Apparently at OP Broadsword last week, Poncho was running lipo on a stock marui mp5.
Piston stripped in no time.
I also haven't seen a lipo stick that's short enough. Yet.

I will be putting my mp5k with an sp110 spring on lipo in the next little while.
Will post results.
