I use .28s in my AEGs outdoors. I've only played in strong wind once, and I didn't find it all that bad, but the other guys playing with .2s couldn't hit shit at 20m with their BBs, despite some having guns shooting just over 400 fps. Wind did affect my trajectory, but I found that in a steady breeze, all I had to do was compensate my aim a bit, and it was fine.
