For some pistol shoots, the range is hot at a specified time and stays hot for hours sometimes, and all guns are assumed loaded and ready.

Lol at a real steel Glock being carried "cocked"! Round in chamber, sure, cocked.............. there is no hammer in a real Glock. Trigger pulls firing pin back then releases it. Tsk, tsk McGuyver!
