I figure it this way.
If you're a serious tuner, you'll be upgrading to a metal body anyways. Then you can do something stupid with the clear one (read: Paint it pink and attach a floppy phallic object as a bayonet)
If you know what you're doing.. You can have a full metal / full wood AK for much less than starting with a marui base.
These things are 100% marui compatible.
