The second link you posted is just a replica of a standard old Colt M16 scope. You can pick up a real Colt version for $50 just about anywhere. 15 or so years ago they grew on trees. I use one that I had used on the older C7's at work before we got the Elcans. Works great for spotting in airsoft and the price was right
