Quick geography and history lesson: Latvia is located on the Baltic sea, South of Finland and East of Sweden. Gained independence in 1918 after WWI. Was occupied by Russia 1939-41, and again from 45-91. Insert much misery and suffering. Newly independent and striving to separate itself from the soviet bloc and integrate into western Europe. Member of EU and NATO. 136 troops in Iraq.
That should get you about up to speed on that one :wink:
And I think you may be right about the effectiveness...but then again, you never know. The eye is a fickle thing...
