I'd say they're very ugly for regular wear, however for camo purpose they'd be excellent. It looks like they have a shine, but perhaps this is just something that happened in the picture.
$350 would be steep for these boots though. Someone should make 'replica' boots. Frontenac or Parklands even. I'd be in.
