TM P226 Slide lock not engaging
So today i get my brand new tokyo p226 and fire 1 mag and the slide lock doesn't engage until i fire 3-4 shots after i'm out of bb's to get the slide lock to go up, also when i check it for gas there is a small amount of pressure on the valve then i just bump it to ensure there is still gas in and almost none comes out
Anyone know the fix?
Could it have to do with the mag cooling?

turns out i had to take the battey out of the stock and charge it right from the battery wire..not the wire that connects to the gun
