There's also the G36C. Unless I'm mistaken it's about the same length as the M4 Carbine with the stock out, but you can also fold the stock for CQB. It has the added benefit of having rails all over the damn thing (pre-installed if it's CA, or at a small cost for the extra two side rails if it's TM) which is great for mounting lasers, lights, or anything else you might want for CQB. I own one (a TM) and am going to buy another one shortly. I love it that much. The mags are also a little easier to carry than P90 mags.
