If you're planning to attach it directly to the barrel as in the second picture you linked, you're out of luck. I'm assuming you're hoping to use the nut in the picture to mount the thing onto the front sight, right? Unfortunately the silencer doesn't actually screw into or in any way actually attach to the nut, you need to screw it onto the end of a regular M4 length barrel. It also comes with a little 2.5 inch adaptor for using it with an XM733 I believe.
