I'd call the performance on propane/green gas pretty abysmal. Two 3 round bursts and the sluggish cycling gets like 50% slower not to mention the drop in FPS.

Will any of the internal upgrades fix this or should I just ditch the propane mags and get some CO2 mags?

Also before someone tells me to lube up the internals, I disassembled the gun and greased it thoroughly.

Sluggish issue should be fix for all new gen2 mp5s, I have gen1 SD and gen2 A3, unless you are getting a very old gen1....
