Even if the gun was chopped up, the slide and frame kit would still be priced fairly high. It's off putting for both the smith and the potential buyer. Disassembled or assembled.

Disassembled, the afforementioned parts can sit in storage for months. Maybe even years the way things are selling for me. LOL.

Either way, I see no real gain to selling the gun as parts.

I'd rather get the gun sold as a whole knowing that it's complete and game ready and have the client come back and say "You built me a pretty decent gun." Plus I won't have to update my parts list on my slowass computer spreadsheet for parts to sell and then have said parts take room in my parts lot.
