Have to agree that flip to side optic isn't of much use unless you're playing CQB but then why bring your DMR.
Recommend a 1-4x28 long eye relief variable zoom scope. 4x is plenty of magnification for airsoft, the long eye relief makes it easy to use, costs about $100. "Sniper" is a company that makes the one I have, it's pretty good.
