I did.. and it doesn't work the same way as an m4 because you have to push and twist the hop unit and it will spring back and lock in...which means if there's any orings in there you can't push it into the outer barrel collar to lock it in. If I pull them over the hopup unit lock it in and then roll the rings back in front of the hop unit, it doesn't tighten it enough.
Also, the secondary effect of the barrel lock on the g36 will also stabilize the inner inside the outer barrel assembly. There's a grub screw in the bottom of my g36 that when tightened to do this is either flexing my barrel or pushing it out of alignment with the exit of the surpressor so I shoot the inside of my surpressor when the inner barrel isn't properly shimmed

I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
