PDI barrels are very good. Better material than the Prometheus. Both of them are manufactured to equal tolerances, and it's hard to go wrong with either.
Tighter bore = higher fps, but larger groupings.
Looser bore = tighter groupings, but lower fps.
6.03/6.04 seems to be the equilibrium point where people are willing to compensate on both performance characteristics, which is why the Prometheus barrels are so popular.
I recently did a barrel comparison between a custom made 5.98mm bore versus a 6.23mm bore short barrel to exaggerate the effect, and confirmed the above theory.
