I'm very curious if anyone's used an ARD of any kind with a thermal unit?
The lenses are pretty damn tough (and warrantied if you have a FLIR unit) but I know I'd still like an extra layer of protection. I actually called and spoke to FLIR about this, and they said they weren't sure how the system would react with honeycomb in front of it.
Because its running off of heat, you could get some issues if your ARD was significantly hotter or cooler than the environment.
