I took a pair of the hollow plastic dummy plates (they're all labled as Med I think)...drilled open the hole at the top and filled it with plaster mix.

It's great in that it adds very decent weight and rigidity....keeps you gear in position. And if the plastic cracks it won't leak out sand/etc...

It's not great in that it was messy, took a long time to dry out (used too much water), and they started to bulge (I taped them together and positioned them such so that they'd keep their shape).

All good in the end.
