Tornado export and reimport

I have been poking around the forum and sent out a few PMs asking if anyone has any experience with bringing their AI Tornado grenades back and forth across the boarder. So far I have heard from some people that they have either never tried but have not heard of any issue with others who have done so. I found a post that said that "thunder Bs" WILL get confiscated but have seen nothing in regards to Tornados.

There seems to be plenty of info on what documentation you require to bring your guns into the country, and or to bring them down to a game and then bring them back however not so much on the gear that goes with it. for example if you roll up to the boarder and say "I have my airsoft gear here is the documentation for the guns" then the customs officers want to inspect what you have and say "Oh whats this" and you say "is a GRENADE" somehow I could imagine that ending badly for you.

Has any of the legal savvy types found any documentation such as Memorandum D19-13-2 for guns that clearly outlines parameters on what can and cannot be brought back and forth for gear and accessories (e.g. plate carriers, claymores, grenades, magazines)? From my understanding as long as the items are not ITAR the US does not seem to have an issue however if someone has some printable documentation to carry to show at the point of crossing for both sides that "X" item I am bringing back and forth is allowed it would be nice to see for reference.
