I suspect that the PDR will be a "love / hate" AEG much like the P90. To me the PDR has the benefits of a compact form factor like a P90 but can use standard M4 mags which is a huge advantage. It is interesting to note in the early reviews that the inner barrel of the PDR is about as long as a typical airsoft M4 inner barrel.

the only love/hate i can see happening with the PDR will be due to its internals.
it's a real shame MAGPUL stopped the development.. would make a nice home defense weapon (for countries that allow that). would be great as a backup secondary on hunting trips. getting charged by a moose would suck if all you have is a bolt action. and if it could be chambered for 6.8mm grendel (pants now have cream filling).
