What do you mean by "lobbed"? What kind of battery are you running and what kind of RPS does that give you? Could it be you're running too high speed and you need to get a sector clip/delayer clip to prevent double feeding or something? This is just a shot in the dark, you'll need to provide more specs and description of the behaviour for us to be able to tell you what the problem is.
